VanYulay Third Project Week Two Summary

I decided that the ‘Cherry Tobacco’ would be my choice for week two of the third six week project with the VanYulay shave soaps. This soap is labeled as a ‘Croap’ which is in between a hard puck and a soft cream. The ‘Cherry Tobacco’ shave soap comes in a 4. oz aluminum tin. A shaving bowl is optional since the tin is big enough to create and hold a creamy and thick shave ready lather. I primarily picked this soap because of the scent and the aroma that it creates. The ‘Cherry Tobacco’ has a deep and rich aroma that runs strong during shaving but weakens after your shave is finished so it’s not overwhelming to others around you. I first soaked my brush so the bristles would be ready to soak up a lot of lather. Since this soap is more of a ‘Croap’ and not a hard soap I added a little water before I started and with a couple of rotations of my shave brush it didn’t take long to start a respectable lather that turned thick and creamy fast. My brush bloomed like a flower soaking up the lather that nestled firmly in between the bristles waiting to transfer to my head and face. The lather applied evenly with little effort needed across my skin.

The lather from the ‘Cherry Tobacco’ shave soap contains some natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Glycerin, Coconut-Castor-Emu-Babassu-Olive-Calendula Oils, Cocoa Butter, Argan Oil and Bentonite Clay. These natural ingredients can help protect your skin from heat, Can help heal skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis and other skin disorders, Can help to disinfect minor wounds and treat infections of the skin, Has antibacterial and immunostimulant properties helping to treat slow-healing cuts, Helps stimulate the production of collagen fighting the signs of aging and can help minimize scarring. These ingredients are natural moisturizers with powerful and protective properties that Is beneficial for either dry or oily complexions. It gently moisturizes the skin keeping it soft and supple. All these skin care and shaving routine benefits that also allow the lather to provide a lot of slickness and cushion for my razor decreasing the risk of irritation. My razor glided across my skin effortlessly with every shave.

Bentonite Clay is one of my favorite ingredients that is also found in this soap. I wish there was more soaps that utilized this ingredient because of the skin care benefits that it offers. Bentonite clay when applied and hydrated produces an electric charge that draws out and removes toxins, heavy metals, impurities and chemicals from your skin. Once these toxins are drawn out the clay absorbs these toxins releasing the minerals for your body to use. Bentonite clay also pulls out excess hydrogen from cells allowing them to replace this space with new oxygen and there is nothing but benefits when our cells get enough oxygen. With the end of week two of the third six week shaving project with VanYulay soaps my skin looks and feels soft and smooth with a faint glow and zero irritation. Love your products and you will love the results. Thank you and have a #Baldtastic day.
