St. James of London
The first week out of the six week shave project with St. James of London I decided to just use all of the creams before I switch to one specific scent for each week, and that’s exactly what I did for the first week out of the six weeks to come with the St. James of London six week project. All of the shave products I have from St. James of London are shave creams but with some differences. The first difference of course is the aroma each cream produces. I have 4 scents to work with from St. James of London. Mandarin & Patchouli, Cedarwood & Clarysage, Black Pepper & Lime, Lavender & Geranium. The Lavender & Geranium scented shave cream is for sensitive skin. All four scents are faint but noticeable and the aroma is pleasing. The other difference is St. James also sells these scents in soft sqeezable tubes that require no shave bowl for lather, just a shave brush is all you need. I will talk more about that aspect in my week 2 summary of the six week shave project with St. James of London.
The lather produced by these shave creams from St. James of London has varied a little. First let me say that all the lather produced by the fine shave creams has been thick and rich. The difference is between the shave cream from the jar compared to the bowl less shave cream from the soft squeezable tubes. Like I previously stated the lather Is still good and it still provides a good shave with a nice slickness. There is just not as much lather with the bowl less shave cream, but the amount available is more than enough to complete your Dome and face shave. Overall no matter what option you choose whether it’s the cream from the jar or the soft squeezable tubes you will still get a fantastic shave from start to finish. The lather is still soft and smooth with a great slickness included that feels outstanding on your Dome and face. It’s just a matter of what option you want to choose from for your nightly shave.
Shaving with the creams from St. James of London is an experience your not going to want to miss out on. The robust lather feels soft and smooth as it rests on top of your head. Its creamy thickness stays in the spot that its applied to and the lather keeps its consistency even if you wait a few minutes before shaving. The absence of dissipation tells me that St. James of London makes a quality product that adds value to every shave you complete. The face shave was just as good as the head shave and there was no descrepencies with lather performance or consistencies. Over all the first week was fantastic and each shave left the skin on my Dome and face nice and smooth with an increased suppleness that was noticeable every time I touched my face or rubbed my freshly shaved head. In the week two summary from the six week shave project I will talk more about the bowl less shave cream from the soft squeezable tubes. Love your product and you will love the results. Have a #Baldtastic day. Thank You!
